Heroes' Square In Budapest

Heroes' Square [Hősök tere] is one of the major squares of capital city of Hundary and one of the landmarks in Budapest.
The central site of the square is the Millennium Memorial (Millennium Monument). There are the statues of the leaders of the seven tribes that founded Hungary in the 9th century and many other outstanding figures of Hungarian history. The construction of this monument began in 1896 and was finished in 1929. Here are my photos of that place with all the hero's statues.

More photos of the beautiful city of Budapest you can find in my blog in Bulgarian.

Danube River And Budapest City

The largest river in Europe flows trough the capital city of Hungary, splitting the city in two towns - Buda and Pest. The banks of the Danube in Budapest are in the list of UNESCO of World Heritage Sites.
Here are my photos of the Danube in Budapest:

You can look at the photos of the Danube in another European capital - Bratislava, in my blog in Bulgarian.
