Bulgarian Sports Personality Of The Year 2008

Bulgaria's golden medalist at Beijing Olympic Games 2008, the rower Rumyana Neykova, was voted the Bulgarian Sports Personality Of The Year on 22nd of December. Neykova received her award from the President Georgi Parvanov at a splendid ceremony in Sofia's Rainbow Plaza. Last year's winner and Beijing silver medalist, wrestler Stanka Zlateva, came in second. The third position in the ranking was occupied by Beijing bronze medalist, wrestler Kiril Terziev.

Man Of The Year 2008

The captain of the Bulgarian national men's volleyball team Plamen Konstantinov received Bulgarian "Man of the Year 2008" award at a special ceremony on 2nd of December in Sofia.
